Shoot
When with in shooting distance, controlled player shoots in the general direction he is facing.

Though Pass
Controlled player passes the ball along the ground in the direction he is facing.

W

Pass
Controlled player passes the ball along the ground in the direction he is facing.

S

Lob/Cross
Controlled player plays a long ball through the air. If you are in crossing position he will play a cross.

A

Player Runs
Controlled player's team-mates run into space reading to receiving a through pass.

Q

Freestyle Control
Player produces a random special move (star players produce trade-mark moves). If he is near a player it will be a move to beat a player. If he is in space it will be a knock-on.

Switch Players
Control swaps to the player closest to the ball.

Conservative Tackle
Controlled player attempts a standard tackle.

D

Slide Tackle
Controlled player attempts a slide tackle.

Keeper Charge
When defending the goalie will charge out and attempt to take the ball from the player in possession.

Drop Ball
The goalie will drop the ball to his feet.

Throw Ball
Goalie will throw the ball to his nearest team-mate.

Goal keeper will kick the ball out of his hands

Action and Effect

Head Ball
Player will attempt to head the ball in the direction he is facing. There is a bug on the PC version which does not let you head the ball if you are on your own.

Volley Pass
Tap when ball comes to you to volley the ball in the direction you are facing. Only works sometimes. Double tap for bicycle.

A

Volley Shot
Tap when ball comes to you to volley a shot. You must be in shooting distance (edge of box). Hard to pull off. Double tap for bicycle.

D

Action and Effect

Move Swing Cursor
Cursor on ball will move to show where on the ball the free kick taker will be kicking. Used to add spin, height and dip to the free kick.
